🌺 What a fantastic Luau Quiz Night on Friday! 🌴✨

There were plenty of laughs, some fierce competition, and an amazing sense of community throughout the evening.

A huge thank you to our incredible Friends of the School (FOTS) team for all the hard work behind the scenes to make the magic happen. From the planning and decorations to the prizes and organisation, your time and dedication made it a night to remember.

Thank you also to everyone who came along, dressed up, and supported the event. Thank you to the sponsors and your support. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful school community.

Our hall - Te Awanui - is looking fabulous, we are ready for our luau quiz night.

New items added to our pre-Quiz Auction .... principal for the day and 3 carpark options (Terms 3 and 4 2026, and Term 1 2027). These will be at the gate in the morning, or you can ring through your bid to the school office during the day.

This morning, Matua Tamati blessed Te Awanui, our school hall.
Naming our hall Te Awanui reflects our deep connection to place and acknowledges the significance of Tauranga Moana and our relationship with Ngāi Tamarāwaho. It grounds our school in the history and identity of this area.

The gold coin donations for Fluro Friday raised $495 this. morning! We have also had a few online donations, and TPS have now got to a total of $542 - beating our goal of $500!

There's more .... we have had a very generous offer from Hooper First National, who are going to match our $500 target!

This means that today we will have raised over $1000 for our ambulance service.
