The first batch of Angel Hair PAFs is almost ready to ship.

We've had to order some more of the custom parts to keep up with the orders, so there are a few little delays while those come in, but the first batch is getting very close.

We've also started engraving the bottom of the pickups with the McPherson logo and model mark, along with an H for Harper, who has wound all the coils for this run.

If you haven't seen the video yet, this is the story behind the pickup and the experiment that started it all. And after playing one for a few weeks now, I'm still really impressed with what this weird little design can do.

I honestly wasn't expecting the result to be this good.

I put my go-to Klon up against a tiny single-JFET overdrive in a blind comparison, then show exactly how to build it.

I'd love to know which one you preferred before the reveal.

🎸CLOSED FOR SURGERY TODAY (Wed 8th Jul 26) Hey musicians, I'm finally having internal surgery from my unfortunate swing break accident in May last year! 🤕 As such we will be closed today so Waylon can help drive and care for me after the op.... rest assured the workshop will be open again tomorrow for advice, drop offs and pick ups and I'll be back on board as soon as I can! 😃 🎸 Shelley (& Waylon McPherson Guitar
