Our Adventure Team enjoyed making the most of the beautiful sunshine today with a visit to Waipuna Park. ☀️

Our Pāua Room tamariki have been getting creative with cork boards, nails, and colourful shapes to design their own unique pictures ✨

This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, problem solving, and fine motor development as tamariki carefully explored how to position and arrange the shapes to bring their ideas to life. We loved seeing the different creations and the pride our tamariki took in their work 💛

What a beautiful, sunshine morning we had for our adventure today. Time sped by as we did some nature collecting, tree clambering and a touch of weaving. Of course, no trip is complete without a good run around to exert and stretch our growing bodies! ☀️

💖 Pink Shirt Day at Kidz Kindy 💖

This Friday we will be wearing pink to stand together against bullying and celebrate kindness, inclusion, and friendship.

At Kidz Kindy we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and accepted for exactly who they are. Through everyday moments of kindness, empathy, and respect, we help our tamariki learn the importance of caring for one another and standing up for others.

We invite all tamariki and whānau to join us by wearing something pink this Friday as we take a stand together 💕

🍃ADVENTURE TEAM🍃

Today our adventure began with some races on the track! Then we headed down through the enormous trees making discoveries as we walked - cicada shells stuck to tree trunks, interesting sticks and branches and some dandelions. All of these observations are so powerful for our oral language as we share ideas, talk about our wonderings and knowledge of the world around us. Following this we had a great run around on the field with balls, skipping rope fun and, most wonderful of all, tamariki make their own choices and ways to have fun following the painted lines, running down the hill and inspecting the rugby goals posts!

Today our preschool tamariki enjoyed some hands-on process baking as they made their very own Anzac biscuits 🍪

From measuring and mixing to rolling and shaping, tamariki were fully engaged in every step of the process.

It was wonderful to see the pride on their faces as their biscuits came out of the oven. A meaningful way to connect with tradition while creating something special together.
