Beadwork is the art or craft of attaching beads to one another or stringing them onto a thread or thin wire. When our tamariki do bead work, they use pipe cleans or string to create their work. Most often, beadwork is a form of personal adornment (e.g. jewelry), the joy of creating a piece for that special person is just beautiful to see

What does creativity look like for our infants and toddlers at Above And Beyond Papamoa? It looks like engaged, curious learners, exploring the process oblivious of the end product. It will get a little messy, but it is all about the importance of curiosity and discovery. Sir Ken Robinson talked about, creativity being just as important as literacy and numeracy!

We had a little lamb and calf visit us today! What an amazing experience for our tamariki, which they absolutely loved! Thank you to our wonderful kaiako for bringing your farm babies in for us to enjoy!
