🚨To help make sure you have an amazing night, here are a few important details: 👇

📍Venue
The Balcony Room
159 17th Avenue, Tauranga (The Historic Village)

⏰ Check-in
Doors open at 7:00pm, with last check-in at 9:00pm, so don’t be late!!!

What you’ll need to enter

• Your Eventbrite ticket (printed or on your phone)

• A current physical NZ government ID or passport

• Your student ID

Please note: Photos of your ID cannot be accepted, we can only accept physical IDs.

👥 Bringing a guest?
If your guest isn’t enrolled at the University of Waikato, they’ll need to arrive and check in with you.

♿️ Accessibility
The venue is located on the second floor, with lift access available for anyone who requires it.

🚭 Smoking & va**ng
Smoking and va**ng are not permitted inside the venue or on the balcony. A designated smoking/va**ng area is available near the entrance.

🍴 Food & drinks
For those who want to soak up the alcohol, grazing-style food will be available throughout the evening, with options that cater to your dietary requirements.

The bar will be serving a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at student-friendly prices, so don’t be shy.

🚽 Toilets
The toilets are located at the back of the venue, directly behind the staircase.

🎵 DJ
Our DJ will be keeping the vibes going all night, so don’t be afraid to get a little crazy on the dance floor, we’d love to see it.

🚨Most importantly, have an incredible night, be safe, and we hope it’s worth the Sunday Scaries!

🍸Getting ready for the ball this Saturday? Here are the answers to the questions we get asked the most:

❓ Can I bring a guest?
📣 Yes. You can purchase a double ticket which allows you to bring someone who is not enrolled at UoW.

❓ I am international student. What form ID is acceptable for entry??
📣 If you do not have a NZ government ID (e.g. NZ driver license). We can only accept your passport as valid ID.

❓ Do I need my student ID?
📣 Yes! You will need to provide your student ID along with your NZ government ID when entering the venue. If you are bringing a plus one who is not a student, please ensure you still bring your own student ID.

❓ Can I leave and come back?
📣 No. There is no re-entry if you leave the venue, so make sure you have everything you need before leaving.

❓ Will there be food?
📣 Yes! There will be a selection of grazing style nibbles throughout the night with options available to suit your dietary requirements.

❓ Will alcohol be available?
📣 Yes! There is a bar located within the venue offering a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from beer and wine to RTDs and sodas.

❓ Can I attend if I’m 17?
📣 No. This event is strictly R18. All attendees must be over the age of 18 and are required to show a valid government ID to enter the venue.
