Our purpose built daycare centre caters for infants and young children, from 3 months to 5 years of age. Located at 105 Wairakei Avenue, Papamoa Beach, we provide nutritious cooked meals supplied by our very own in-house chef and a fantastic team of passionate teachers. Our daycare centre has 3 dedicated areas for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers, so, your child receives meaningful care, as well as personalised learning and development.

๐ŸŽจโœจ Exploring Stamping, Shapes & Colour Mixing! โœจ๐ŸŽจ

Our tamariki have been busy exploring the creative world of stamping, shapes and colour mixing! ๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ๐ŸŒˆ

They experimented with a variety of tools to create different prints and patterns, including pipe cleaners bent into different shapes, feathers and paper rolls. It was wonderful to see the tamariki making choices, testing ideas and discovering the different marks each tool could create.

As they stamped, they began recognising and talking about different shapes, noticing patterns and exploring what happened when colours were mixed together.

Through this hands-on experience, our tamariki were developing their fine motor skills, creativity, observation, problem-solving and early mathematical thinking, while having lots of fun exploring and creating!

This week, a few of our tamariki headed out on a special centre excursion to the park! ๐Ÿ’š

Our tamariki had so much fun climbing, running, jumping and exploring a new environment. They were full of curiosity as they discovered new spaces, challenged their bodies and enjoyed being active outdoors. ๐ŸŒณโœจ

The excursion was also a wonderful opportunity for our tamariki to practise important road safety skills as we travelled together. ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšฆ We talked about staying with the group, looking and listening carefully, and keeping safe around roads.

It was a fantastic day filled with adventure, learning, movement and lots of smiles! ๐Ÿ’•

Our Nourish Programme supports even our youngest learners to develop healthy food habits while giving them meaningful opportunities to be involved in creating their own afternoon tea.

Tamariki get hands on learning experiences as they scoop, pour, press, crumble and mix the ingredients together, building confidence, independence and coordination while exploring the process of making their own kai. Tamariki learn that even the yummiest treats can also have nutritional value and become confident and capable participants in their own balanced diets right from our baby room (the Nest).

And the best part? Our wonderful centre chef takes their creation and bakes them into something delicious! Once ready, their beautifully prepared afternoon tea is presented for them to enjoy.

We love that Nourish is about more than just nutritious food, itโ€™s about giving tamariki the opportunity to be involved, explore, learn and enjoy kai together.

Our tamariki have been having so much fun exploring our new play and learn tough tray!

Together, they explored water, bubbles and sensory experiences while learning through hands-on play. They practised pouring, splashing, scooping and transferring water, building their coordination, confidence and curiosity along the way.

There were lots of smiles, laughter, teamwork and wonderful opportunities for our tamariki to discover what happens when they experiment and explore together.
