Today, as part of National Volunteer Week (NVW), we move on to our second district, BAY OF PLENTY as we recognise and celebrate all of our patrols and patrollers for their ongoing commitment to the communities they serve.

Their dedication, whether on weekdays, weekends, during the day or late at night, helps make our communities safer places to live, work, and visit. We thank every volunteer for the time, effort, and passion they contribute in supporting community safety and wellbeing.

CIMS 3 & CIMS 4 public courses | Auckland | 30–31 July 2026

Due to popular demand, C4 will be running public CIMS 3 and 4 courses in Auckland in July. We exclusively deliver our CIMS training as corporate in-house courses — so this public offering is a genuine rarity. If you've been waiting for the opportunity to upskill in the NZ Coordinated Incident Management System and haven’t been able to find a public course - don't let this opportunity pass by.

CIMS 3 (Unit Standard 32158) – Thursday 30 July
A one-day course designed for those who may be part of an Incident Management Team (IMT). Covers CIMS structure and principles, IMT roles and functions, documentation, handovers and briefings, plus a full desktop scenario.
💲 $300 per person

CIMS 4 (Unit Standards 29553 & 29554) Thursday 30th July and Friday 31st July (two days)
Designed for those with formal IMT roles or who may serve as alternates. Includes everything in CIMS 3 plus three desktop scenarios, crisis leadership, and deeper IMT practice.
💲 $550 per person

Both courses include online assessment and the opportunity to contextualise scenarios to your organisation.

C4 are delighted to announce that following our recent NZQA External Evaluation Review, we are once again a Category 1 PTE. This means that we will have been in the top 5% of all NZQA training providers nationally for 16 years! Attaining a Category 1 grading is no mean feat but to maintain it, we have had to get better year after year.
