Explore textured painting, a technique where paint is mixed and applied in thicker layers to create depth on the canvas. Instead of focusing on perfect brushstrokes, it’s about playing with shapes and movement. It’s surprisingly freeing and a lot of fun!

The Incubator Creative Hub's mission has always been and always will be to support the arts and artists in our community. So, we ask, respectfully – please take it easy on the AI art!

Event posters are keepsakes for all involved. Why not take the opportunity to engage and support the arts across all mediums? Consider a trade – a poster for some tickets, or a graphic for a feed. Pick up a pen or a pastel yourself and give it a go – (This original artwork was created by a 10-year-old in 20 minutes). Or, really invest in the talent and hard work of artists and pay them what they’re worth.

All of our communities are built by these human interactions and sustained by their collaborative efforts. Show your support by choosing artists over AI!

This month you'll be surrounded by the beautiful artworks in the 'In Good Company' exhibition from the eight resident artists of - Each artist approaches their work from a distinct perspective, spanning photography, textile art, mixed media, painting, and illustration, creating a richly layered exhibition that invites curiosity and connection. The varied works are united by place, yet diverse in voice, material, and intent.

Another gloriously colourful, tactile and meditative art experience from Emma Prill!

Circles in Bloom is 3 hours of creative mixed media play using beautiful, high-quality gouache, Posca pens, and beautifully patterned Japanese paper. Layering these materials, you’ll create a vibrant, circular floral composition full of texture, color, and movement.
