Elm Tree Early Learning Centre

We had an amazing little adventure today to The Kereru Gardens in Oropi to select 6 trees for our garden. We were amazed at the variety of plants there! The tamariki each selected one tree and then we ate cookies made by one of their whānau 🥰 So thankful to be able to do these excursions and I can’t wait to go back again!

Today is Nicola’s birthday, and we just wanted to say how grateful we are for everything she does. She is not only an amazing manager, but also a caring teacher, a supportive friend, and a truly lovely person. We are so lucky to have her at Elm Tree.

Happy Mothers Day to all the incredible mothers, caregivers, and mother figures who fill our days with love and care.

We had a beautiful time celebrating with you all on Friday at our Mother’s Day High Tea. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special. It was wonderful to see our tamariki sharing these moments with the important people in their lives.

We hope you all had a lovely day today feeling appreciated and celebrated for everything you do 💐

Thank you to kaiako Courtney and our tamariki for making the wreaths, these were proudly taken to both Mount Maunganui and Memorial Park Dawn services.

What a wonderful day we had celebrating Easter with our tamariki! We took a special walk over to the Elms, to see the Easter Bunny and had an Easter hunt to find all of his eggs!
