π₯ Squad Training This Saturday (TMAA) & Club Visit! π₯
This Saturday's Squad Training is shaping up to be a great session, with a visiting club joining us for training!
This is an excellent opportunity for our students to train with different opponents, challenge themselves, and continue developing their sparring skills in a positive and competitive environment.
Whether you're preparing for upcoming tournaments or simply looking to improve your Taekwon-Do, we encourage all senior students to come along and active competitors among our junior class, let's make the most of this opportunity.
The momentum within Hwa Rang continues to build, and it's fantastic to see more students committing to regular training, competing, and supporting one another. Experiences like this are a big part of developing confident, capable martial artists.

Success Leaves Clues.
Over the school holidays, our students have continued to demonstrate what can be achieved through consistent effort, commitment, and a willingness to challenge themselves.
Congratulations to all of our students who competed at the recent Star Series Tournament in Wellington, bringing home an outstanding collection of medals. Every medal represents countless hours of training, determination, and the courage to step onto the competition mats.
At the same time, many of our students successfully completed their grading, showcasing the skills they have been developing in class. Every grading is another step forward on their martial arts journey and recognition of the hard work they've put in over recent months.
What we're seeing across the club isn't happening by chance.
Whether your goal is to earn your next belt, compete at tournaments, improve your confidence, or simply become the best version of yourself, the formula remains the same:
Consistency. Commitment. Effort.
We're incredibly proud of every student who continues to invest in their own development. Keep showing up, keep working hard, and the results will continue to follow.
Congratulations to everyone on another fantastic week of achievements. The future of Hwa Rang is looking brighter than ever!

Term 2 Results Speak for Themselves - Lets Build on Them in Term 3
Hi everyone,
As we prepare to begin Term 3 next week, I wanted to take a moment to recognise what has been an outstanding Term 2 for our students.
Throughout the Term we saw something really exciting happen.
More students committed to training more consistently than ever before, most students were training two, or three times per week.
And not only more often, but with greater purpose, more intent and with specific goals in mind.
That extra commitment quickly translated into better technique, greater confidence, faster progress and better outcomes.
The difference was obvious.
_______________________________________________________________________
Term 2 was full of achievements across the club.
π₯ Students successfully grading and reaching new milestones. Almost the entire Junior TKD class double graded, during their stripes grading!
π Our tournament competitors produced fantastic performances, demonstrating both skill, sportsmanship & results at 3 tournaments in one term, including our club being the top club at the Midlands Regional tournament.
π Most importantly, we watched students growβnot just in martial arts, but in confidence, resilience, discipline and work ethic.
We're incredibly proud of what everyone achieved.
_______________________________________________________________________
Momentum is a powerful thing.
Students who continue training consistently will continue improving.
Those who take long breaks or only train occasionally often find themselves spending valuable class time catching back up instead of continuing to progress.
That's why we highly recommend all students commit to at least a Foundation membership or even better a Plus membership in Term 3, this will help sustain that progress we've made together and ensure we keep seeing the best possible outcomes for our students and your children.
_______________________________________________________________________
This term we will continue to offer squad training on Saturdays at TMAA, and we will also as a club be attending the nationals squad training sessions in Te Puna.
_______________________________________________________________________
Thank you to every student and family who contributed to such an incredible Term 2.
We can't wait to see what we can achieve together in Term 3.
If you're thinking about joining the academy, increasing your child's training, upgrading your membership or would like advice on which pathway is right for your family, please have a chat with one of our coaching team.
Here's to another fantastic term!
See you on the mats.
