Our Acro classes blend power and performance, led by expert teachers Amy Yorke, Nicki Fraser, Kaitie Burrows, and Ashley Yorke. With a focus on safe technique and fun, our program builds strong dancers who shine.

We 🩷 Pre Schoolers at DA!
9 weekly class options for ages 2 - 5yrs. Classes include a mix of basic jazz, ballet & acro, appropriate to age group, all to super fun & engaging music!
We use props to boost learning and creativity.

9.30am : 3yrs
10am : 4yrs

ACRO WORKSHOPS @ Dance Avenue with qualified Acrobatic Arts teacher Amy Yorke with assistance from 2 other experienced acro teachers Kaitie & Ashley.

9.30 - 10.30am MINIS *$10 each
10.30 - 12noon BEGINNERS *$15 each

3.30 - 5.30pm INTER *$20 each
5.30 - 7.30pm ADVANCED *$20 each

⭐️ MINIS : aimed at absolute beginners 3-5yrs
- Learning to cartwheel on both sides,Handstand & Bridge
- Obstacle course which encourages co-ordination, balance, strength & fun
- Fun Acro games get them moving
- Use of our 4 Acro mats & 2 Airtracks

⭐️ BEGINNERS : aimed at beginners OR those new to Acro 5-8yrs approx
- Learning to cartwheel on both sides,Handstand & Bridge kick-over
- Obstacle course which encourages co-ordination, balance, strength & fun
- Fun Acro games get them moving
- Use of our 4 Acro mats & 2 Airtracks

⭐️ INTERS : aimed at dancers with some Acro experience. (8yrs + approx)
- Must be able to do Cartwheels,Handstands & Bridges kick-overs
- Learning or can do Walkovers - front & back
- Learning or can do Aerial & aerial drills
- Learning Handspring drills
- Learning Step out drills
- Obstacle course which encourages co-ordination, balance, strength & fun
- Fun but challenging Acro
- Use of our 4 Acro mats & 2 Airtracks

⭐️ ADVANCED : aimed at dancers with Acro experience.
- Must be able to do Cartwheels,Handstands & Walkovers - front & back
- Learning or can do Aerial & aerial drills
- Learning or can do Handsprings & step outs
- Challenging Obstacle course which promotes cardio fitness, balance, strength, flexibility & fun
- Team & solo Acro challenges
- Use of our 4 Acro mats & 2 Airtracks
