Today at Scuola Montessori ( 15th Avenue) we supported Pink Shirt Day 2026 💗

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Pink Shirt Day today! Our tamariki proudly dressed in pink and throughout the day, explored the importance of caring for one another, showing empathy, and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and safe. What a lovely day it has been!

Scuola Montessori is 14years old today 😊.

Today at Scuola Montessori ( 15th Avenue), we celebrated Mother’s Day with a “ Mothers Day Fancy Morning Tea”.
Thank you to all our lovely Mums who joined us for our wonderful Morning Tea today. We shared a very special time together enjoying delicious waffles, fresh fruit, tea, and coffee alongside our tamariki.

It was so lovely to celebrate and show our appreciation for all the amazing Mums and special people in our children’s lives. Thank you for being part of such a beautiful morning with us.

Scuola Montes15th Avenue had a very special morning yesterday we celebrated family traditions together. The tamariki looked absolutely beautiful in their traditional clothing. We were very lucky to enjoy delicious traditional treats and even played a Sri Lankan New Year game called ‘Aliyata asa thabeema’ (Eye on the Elephant). This experience supported a strong sense of belonging and connection, as children explore and celebrate each other’s cultures in a meaningful way.

We love celebrating and sharing these traditions together, so please always let us know if your whānau has a special celebration coming up, we would love to join in and share in your culture.

What a wonderful morning we had at Scuola Montessori
We were very lucky to have a special visit from our kaiako James’ beautiful Angora rabbits. The children were calm, gentle, and very caring as they all had a turn to stroke the rabbit.

It was then time to start the Easter Egg Hunt, where the children searched high and low for eggs to fill their lovely Easter baskets, followed by some fun face painting. There were so many smiles, laughs, and happy ‘bunnies’ throughout the morning.

A beautiful day full of joy, kindness, and friendship.
