I will be taking a break from the sewing room to prepare for Christmas and to catch up on some jobs that I need to do. I will be back to help you with your sewing needs in the New Year. May I say how wonderful it is to have come back again this year and for all the encouragement and support you lovely folks have given me. You're still welcome to message me to book your spot in 2026, I just may not answer for a few days. 😁 I wish you all a sweet and blessed Christmas, see you in the New Year 🇳🇿 🐻 😊

I handed over another sweet Memory Bear on Friday, at one of my favorite places, Pippy's Pantry. Two friends had gone in together to commission this little one in Memory of their friend's beloved Nana. 🐻

What a beautiful morning here at Pippy's Pantry for a Memory Bear handover. Matt and team bring joy and kindness to the space.

Hi everyone, I'm having some technical difficulties with my app so please don't think I'm ignoring you. As a family our hearts are broken, one of our dearest friends, whom we considered more of a brother passed away on Saturday. Messages are still welcome, I just can't get to them as soon as usual. Thanks for your kind understanding

Cute rice bags for heating to snuggle on a cold day. We still have some left. Message if you'd like one 😊

A behind the scenes peak. My son helped me design my logo. I thought I might have to work out of my little garden shed at one stage, hence the shed in the name. And the name itself was suggested by my lovely mum in law, I loved it immediately. Lots of name change suggestions have come and gone, but I am a fairly sentimental person, and so it has remained the same. Yes, I do the work, but my family help make it happen. My husband will come home from a 12-hour shift at work and cook tea because I'm engrossed in the making of a bear. They all tolerate my noise while I sew, and the mess I make, and my unavailability during each bear construction. My embroidery threads all over the couch, while I try to match the threads for the features. My family are so supportive and encouraging, and I couldn't do this without them.

Flora fox was a pattern test, I can't remember where I found the pattern but she inspired Brooke's mum to get her a fox made out of her grandad's shirt. Mum got a little bear. 😊

This was one of my most challenging memory bears to make. But he turned out to be a real favorite. He reminded me so much of my own dad because the cardigan had glue or varnish, and welding burns in it. Some of my dad's clothes were the same. It's such a journey of wonderful memories each time.

How about a cute little Easter bunny or memory bunny? One of my favorite things to make. They're just so cute 😍

Sometimes, you need to try something different. My dear friend Ana showed me how to make these delightful and useful boxes. They're wonderful for putting together little gift packs or storing little nick-nacks. I didn't get a photo, but we have a friend who appreciates tasty food, so we made up a selection of seasonings and packaged them in one of these for the husband's birthday. We also knew they're a family who appreciate home-made items and don't like waste. When we visited again, the little fabric box was full of those odd little things that you don't throw away, but don't know where to put. Perfect! 😊

This is Apple, I think 😁. I loved her bright happy colors. Amazing how the different light made the fabric look.
