A reminder that our community nurse is in tomorrow from 8-9.30am. She is available for minor ailments and non-complex medical issues and it is free of charge. Please come in with your tamariki if possible as they may need parent permission for a thorough examination.

Just a few important updates about our We Shine – Matariki Wearable Arts Show!

✨ 1. It's happening this week!
Join us on Thursday 6 August as our tamariki proudly showcase the incredible wearable art they have been creating.

🎟️ 2. Show 2 is now FULL!
Our second show has reached capacity, so thank you for your amazing support! If you haven't booked yet, there are still plenty of seats available for Show 1.

📍 3. New venue
To accommodate more whānau, the showcase will now be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the church right next door to our kura).

The excitement is definitely building, and our tamariki can't wait to share their creativity and hard mahi with you all. We know it's going to be a special celebration of Matariki, and we look forward to seeing you there!

🌟 This is a big week for our kura!
♻️👗🌿Our Matariki learning culminates in our spectacular Wearable Arts Show on Thursday. There will be two performances, so be sure to book your seats!
👾🏃 Momentum for our Monty the Monstar Fun Run is also building. This week, the focus is on sharing your child’s profile page with friends and whānau. Every share helps us get closer to our fundraising goal!

🌟 Happy Principal's Appreciation Day, Whaea Rochelle! 🌟

On Wednesday, we celebrated National Principal's Appreciation Day and took the opportunity to acknowledge the incredible leader of our kura, Whaea Rochelle Jensen.

Throughout the week we celebrated her dedication, passion and leadership. When asked how she felt, Whaea Rochelle simply said that she has the best job in the world because of the amazing staff, tamariki and whānau of Gate Pā School.

Nō mātau te whiwhi – we are the lucky ones. ❤️ Thank you, Whaea Rochelle, for your unwavering commitment, your heart for our people, and your vision for helping our kura thrive. We appreciate everything you do.
