Karanga mai . Today Gate Pā School hold the Tauranga West Cluster Primary Schools Rā Whakangahau, where our local primary schools get the chance to show off their Kapa Haka. We are so excited to be taking a small roopu to tautoko some of our former students and enjoy the atmosphere.

Chugga-chugga-chug! Rollling into the school holidays in style. Ngā mihi tino nui Cameron, for bringing your Tractor in to show your son Spencer's friends and a very special thank-you for allowing all the little fingers to touch all the little buttons. We are very lucky and also very impressed, what a beautiful piece of machinery!

Matariki Tāpuapua
Winter brings the rain and all of a sudden the land is inundated with fresh water. The time of Matariki tāpuapua is seen as cleansing and revitalising for the earth and replenishing soil with potential in readiness for the break of kōanga (spring). Our tamariki see the positive in every situation and love the rain and wet sodden earth, just as much as the sunshine.

Kua tae mai a Ngahuru, Autumn has arrived! We relish the crisp clear day's here at Above and Beyond Gate Pā and make the most of the breaks in between the rain.
