Next large project is a Douglas Fir that came in my posession two years ago at which stage it was used as a Christmas tree and then cut down. It is a twin trunk and at the moment about 1 meter high and the same width. Today was just about some branch selection but mostly using guy wires to pull some of the branches down. The tree is covered with buds and the branches will be shortened and compacted as the buds open and contribute towards growth closer to the trunk.
Carving to sort the two trunks out at the top will take place during the 2026 winter period. It will also then go in to a timber box to start the root work. For now it is just fertiliser, watering and growth.

Somewhere around Kesh*tsubo and Sh*to sized. Playing with miniatures today.
