By coming together to form an international Indigenous network in support of our rivers, we can create real, systemic change through law, policy, advocacy and practice. A Meeting of Sacred Waters is a virtual, global gathering that helps create connections, build relationships, and spark ideas centered on diverse Indigenous values and perspectives about the health and healing of all rivers.

NUKU recognizes a star from our network, Kyla Campbell-Kamariera, among 100 Indigenous female change-makers and leaders! Well deserved!
Meet NUKU //067 Kyla Campbell-Kamariera (Te Rarawa, Te Aupōuri, Taranaki Tūturu)
Her journey has at many times been very straight forward, with her love of education and her drive to succeed both academically and creatively. In this episode we talk about her upbringing in the far north. Kyla shares her leadership ambitions, her educational achievements and the realities of her mahi representing a diverse collective in University politics. She also talks about systemic racism and the power of Indigenous women. ✊🏽
Her kōrero and portrait shoot is now LIVE (https://www.nukuwomen.co.nz/2021/05/04/067-kyla-campbell-kamariera/). You can also follow the the podcast on or (and all other major podcast platforms. Just search 'NUKU'. 🍏
