Looking ahead to life after school? Care Matters are hosting a free, two-part online workshop to help families map out a positive, purposeful future for their young adults.

Care Matters Online Workshop: The Journey to Adulthood and Life After School

Part 1: Tuesday, 8th September | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Part 2: Wednesday, 9th September | 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Who is this for?
Parents, carers, and whānau of disabled young people (from early teens to late 20s) who want to start thinking about the future.

What we will cover:
Exploring what a full, meaningful adult life can look like—including learning, work, hobbies, living arrangements, and community connections.
Starting early, mapping out pathways, and understanding available supports.
Creating space for whānau to reflect on how parenting roles evolve over time.
Practical, positive tools and ideas for planning ahead.

Facilitators: Facilitators with lived experience as family members

Just a reminder that Monday is King's birthday and is a non school day.

We are open today, Friday 29th, as usual. We know that quite a few other schools across Tauranga have a Teacher Only Day today but this is not the case for our kura.
