🌿💛 Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori at Playcentre! 💛🌿

What a lovely week we had last week celebrating Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori! 🥰

We had fun incorporating te reo Māori into our everyday play, practising simple greetings and phrases, and encouraging our tamariki and whānau to give them a go. 👋😊

We also had lots of fun with our colour-themed days, with tamariki getting into the spirit by wearing different colours and exploring them through our play and activities. 🌈🎨

It’s been wonderful seeing everyone embracing te reo Māori, having a go, and celebrating the beautiful language of Aotearoa together. 🇳🇿

Kia kaha te reo Māori! 🌿✨

🚒🔥 A very exciting visitor at Playcentre! 🔥🚒

We were so lucky to have a real fire engine come along for a visit! The tamariki were VERY excited to check it out, have a look inside and learn a little more about what firefighters do. 👩‍🚒🧑‍🚒

A huge thank you to one of our wonderful Playcentre whānau, whose dad is a firefighter, for organising such a special visit and sharing his time and knowledge with us. ❤️

🌿✨ Nature School Adventures! ✨🌿

We’ve been making the most of the great outdoors at Playcentre! 🌳💚

This week our little explorers enjoyed some nature school adventures, including rolling balls down the hill and watching them zoom, bounce and tumble! ⚽️😄

There were plenty of opportunities for experimenting, chasing, problem-solving and, of course, lots of giggles.

💥 CRASH‼️

This week's schema in our centre is disconnecting and deconstruction.

Our tamariki will be crashing through things, tumbling towers and scattering things all around. We started off the week with boxes to push over or crash into.

Come along and let your little one enjoy the fun!
