Kia Ora. Nga Mihinui ki a koutou katoa. I hope you are all having the kind of Sunday that you want to. But if you're looking for somehwere to go and something to do, why not come down and check out the kai and entertainment at Hungahungatoroa Marae. They are putting on a fundraising event today from 2pm - 6pm in response to the Cyclone Gabrielle and to tautoko whanau who have been affected in the aftermath of the cyclone.

There is a $20 entry fee (tamariki 0-6 are free). There will be a stage with various local artist performing all afternoon. The band that I play the drums for will be performing today at 5pm. There will be raffles and I believe a battons up as well. There will be kai to purchase or bring a picnic and enjoy the entertainment and hopefully the sun will stay out until the end at 6pm. The event is fully alcohol free. So come on down and give a little to help whanau affected by the cyclone.
