But if you're looking for somehwere to go and something to do, why not come down and check out the kai and entertainment at Hungahungatoroa Marae. They are putting on a fundraising event today from 2pm - 6pm in response to the Cyclone Gabrielle and to tautoko whanau who have been affected in the aftermath of the cyclone.

There is a $20 entry fee (tamariki 0-6 are free). There will be a stage with various local artist performing all afternoon. The band that I play the drums for will be performing today at 5pm. There will be raffles and I believe a battons up as well. There will be kai to purchase or bring a picnic and enjoy the entertainment and hopefully the sun will stay out until the end at 6pm. The event is fully alcohol free. So come on down and give a little to help whanau affected by the cyclone.
