Our Hastings Hei Whanake team dropped, covered and held on today for the New Zealand National ShakeOut our annual earthquake drill 🏠💪

It’s a great reminder to be prepared, stay calm, and know what to do when the ground starts shaking. 🌏

Our Hei Whanake Kawerau and Te Puke cohorts joined forces with Halo Whakatāne for a community plant-out at Ōtamakaokao and together they planted over a thousand native plants! 🌿💪

It was awesome to see everyone out there working as one, giving back to the whenua, and helping restore our taiao. 🌏💚

And a huge ngā mihi nui to Whaea Waimanuka who celebrated her birthday with us on the same day 🎂🎉 What a way to spend your special day surrounded by nature and whānau.
