🧸 Every Repair Café has its own cast of characters!

Over the past few months we welcomed a much-loved teddy bear, a favourite doll, a colourful soft toy, a cheeky clown... and even a Halloween butler! 🐻🪆🐵

While we repair plenty of kettles, lamps and small appliances, it's often these treasured companions that remind us why Repair Café is so special. They're more than just toys—they're lifelong friends, treasured memories and part of the family.

A big thank you to our amazing volunteer repairers who helped give these beloved characters a new lease on life. Seeing the smiles on their owners' faces is what it's all about. 💚

🔧 Another Repair Café, another successful morning of giving well-loved items a second chance!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteer repairers who generously shared their time, skills and knowledge to help keep more items out of landfill. From electrical appliances and household items to soft toys and treasured keepsakes, every repair helps reduce waste and proves that many things are worth fixing, not throwing away.

Thank you to everyone who brought along an item and supported the repair movement. Every repair is a step towards a more sustainable future.

Last night, we hosted another fantastic workshop as part of our Repair Cafe! Led by Martin and Melissa, participants received a hands-on introduction to leatherworking, where they cut, stamped, and riveted their very own customised keyrings.

We also talked about how to restore old leather items, and everyone walked away having learned something new. Huge thanks to Martin and Mel for generously sharing their expertise with us!
