This service is also available 'at a distance', using cell phone and Skype, Viber or What's App as our point of contact. I write with you and for you to ensure I accurately record your relevant work related information and goals, at the same time capturing your own personality on the page. With a varied and active career myself, I can help you create your first CV, adapt a current CV to a particular position or update an outdated one. I have extensive experience working with young people, including my own, as they enter the work force, develop their careers and make career changes. I offer a School Leaver / Work force Entry CV service in which we research then target the CV to a specific field or position, or take a broader approach keeping work options more open. As a trained and highly experienced ESOL teacher, I am also able to help migrants, for whom English is a second language, develop a CV in preparation for entry into the New Zealand workforce. Once I have created your draft CV you will be able to view it and suggest changes, ensuring your CV is personal to you. I provide your final CV in hard copy, in digital format on a USB for you and as an email. You will therefore be able to edit your own CV as you move into the future. A great CV will get you to interview at which point you can promote yourself face to face. This process can be daunting and you may feel unprepared. So, I also offer intensive one to one Preparation for Interview sessions in which we explore and practise strategies to maximise our chances of success.
