Basketball draw for next week

🏀 BASKETBALL FINALS FORMAT – HOW IT WORKS 🏀

With pool play now complete, teams have been ranked and split into Championship and Plate divisions. The aim is to reward performance during pool play while also creating closer, more competitive games as we head into the final weeks.

🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP – RANKS 1–6
• 1st and 2nd are rewarded for their pool-play results with a bye through the quarterfinals.
• 3rd–6th will play quarterfinals this week, with teams matched based on their final rankings.
• Quarterfinal winners will progress to the semifinals.

🏀 PLATE – RANKS 7–11
• Teams ranked 7th–11th have been placed into the Plate Division to provide more evenly matched and competitive games.
• Plate teams will NOT play quarterfinals this week.
• The Plate Division will ultimately determine final overall placings from 7th–11th.

The overall rankings were calculated fairly using Competition Points Per Game, as the two original pools had a different number of teams/games played.

Congratulations to all our Interschool Spelling Bee competitors who represented us last week, especially Liam, who won a blistering 1-1 battle to take home the Year 6 medal!
