ROSMINI IN Y16 AND 1A RUGBY FINALS THIS WEEKEND

Rosmini College's Youth 16 Rugby team are in their Grand Final vs Takapuna Grammar this Saturday, 9:25am on NH Domain 2 at the Stadium.

The North Harbour 1A 1st XV Grand Final sees Rosmini College play Westlake Boys High School at North Harbour Stadium on Saturday at 12 noon.

For any supporters coming for along to the 1A Final, please note the following:

The ground opens from 11:15am. Rosmini supporters are to enter through Gate A.

There is no allocated parking for players, coaches, teachers, families and students.

$2 admission fee – cash only.

Rosmini spectators are to sit in their allocation of the grandstand which is on the eastern side adjacent to Gate A.

No admission for any spectators wearing face paint or carrying air horns.

Spectators are welcome to stay for the rest of the afternoon’s fixtures including the NPC game but if you leave the venue and return you will have to pay a re-entry fee.

A massive thank you to everyone who made today’s Old Boys day such a memorable one! 🔴🔵
We kicked things off this morning with a fantastic turnout at the function - plenty of catch-ups, great coffee, good food, and some nostalgic flicking through the old Rosminian yearbooks. We also enjoyed hearing a few words from John Thornley about the revitalisation of ROBA.
The highlight of the day was heading out to the big televised clash against Westlake. Our 1st XV Old Boys formed a spectacular guard of honour for the current team as they ran out onto the field. To top it all off, the boys delivered an absolute thriller of a game, with Rosmini taking home the well-deserved win!
Generations united by the Rosmini Brotherhood; thanks for the incredible support, lads. Up the 036! 🪢

THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO SATURDAY!

We already have a fantastic crowd of Old Boys locked in for this Saturday’s function, and the wider campus is going to be buzzing with the Finale to Rosmini Week!

If you are heading down, here is your essential guide:

Where & When: 10:00am start in the Auditorium Foyer. (Finishing up at 11:45am).

Strictly Adults Only: The morning function is for Old Boys only - no kids for this part, please! However, family and friends are more than welcome to join you afterward for the rugby.

Perks: Your entry gets you morning tea and a free hot brew from the coffee van.

Gear Up: Wear your school colours! We’ll also have a Merch Stand over by the No. 1 field showcasing designs for our upcoming new supporters gear launch; scan the code at the stand to hit the holding page so you're ready to lock in your order the moment the range officially drops.

Afternoon Footy & Catch-up:
At 11:45am we head to the No. 1 field. All 1st XV Old Boys, please assemble at the Pavilion by 11:50am sharp to form the Guard of Honour tunnel! There’s a sausage sizzle at the game, and we’ll be carrying on the catch-up at a local bar afterward (details shared at the morning function).

Congratulations to Old Boy Isaac Houlbrooke who was part of this winning team at the Nation's Cup in South Africa, securing a bronze medal 🥉 It was also a milestone game for Isaac... his 50th for the Black Sticks!

🎶 CALLING ALL OLD BOYS – THE BIG SING IS TOMORROW! 🎶

Get ready to show some Rosmini pride! Tomorrow, Thursday 18 June, our talented young men are taking the stage at the iconic Auckland Town Hall for The Big Sing - New Zealand’s largest choral event.

This massive nationwide festival has been running for over 35 years, featuring more than 9,000 students from 280 choirs. Rosmini has a proud history here, and this year we have two incredible groups ready to represent the blue and gold in the Auckland regionals.

If you are around the CBD tomorrow, get along to the Town Hall and support the boys. Here is when you can catch them:

Rosmini Voices – Performing in Session 6 (Starts at 9:05 AM)

Rosmini Chamber Choir – Performing in the second half of Session 7 (Starts at 3:05 PM)

REMINDER: Calling all Rosmini Old Boys - whether your time at the College was spent in the classrooms, on the stage, or on the sports fields.

On Saturday, 4th July, the ROBA is hosting a morning for all generations to connect, celebrate, and hear a short presentation on the exciting future direction of Rosmini College.

We are taking over the Rosmini Auditorium from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM for short presentation a free coffee van, light brunch, and drinks.

We love seeing our Rosmini alumni thriving on the big stage! Rosmini Old Boy Everton O'Leary (Defender) has been making waves in the professional football scene.

After strong stints in the local Northern League with Birkenhead United and Auckland United, and representing New Zealand at the FIFA U20 World Cup, Everton took a massive step forward by joining Auckland’s premier professional franchise, Auckland FC.

Everton was a key part of the historic Auckland FC squad that competed in the newly launched Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) tournament, culminating in a spectacular grand final victory over South Melbourne at Eden Park.

Last weekend, Everton took time out to visit his grassroots roots at Birkenhead United, bringing along the championship trophy for a photo op. Current Rosmini Y9 student Corey Bradley was lucky enough to catch up with him (pictured).

Everton is a fantastic example of where hard work and dedication can lead. With a lot of his squad pushing for full-time A-League professional contracts next season, the future looks incredibly bright for this talented defender. Rosmini is incredibly proud of you, Everton!

Calling all Rosmini Old Boys! Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, this morning is for you. Join us on Saturday 4th July at the Rosmini Auditorium to reconnect, catch up with old mates, and look ahead to the future of the College.

Come for the catch-up, stay for whatever fits your schedule! Here is the morning's lineup:
10:00am: Arrive early and enjoy a free coffee on us from the Coffee Van!
10:15am: A short presentation on the exciting future plans and direction of Rosmini College.
Followed by: A light brunch, non-alcoholic beverages, and plenty of time to socialise.

Staying on? For those who want to stick around afterward, the 1st XV take on Westlake on the No. 1 Field at 12:00pm.
We would love to get as many old 1st XV players as possible to form a tunnel to send the boys out! Gather 11:50am by the Pavilion.

Whether you're just dropping in for a coffee and a chat or staying for the day, all Old Boys are welcome!

The auditorium function is designed as a special reunion for our alumni brotherhood, with catering strictly for our Old Boys. If your family or partners would like to catch the rugby, we’d love to see them pack the sidelines with us from 12:00pm onwards!

It was a pleasure to welcome back a group of our Old Boys for a surprise performance at last night’s Choral Concert. Going by the name Freshmen, the group has started to perform at local events. It is brilliant to see that the love of music fostered during their time at Rosmini continues to thrive today.
