Gentlemen:

I am looking for several students y7-12 who might be interested in a project that is focused on the impact of climate change on our communities and future. You will be working with a group of students located in Davao, Southern Philippines. Those students (Mr. Wood has met with them) are motivated, communicate well and would commit to this multiyear project.

The are three outcomes the groups would work toward in 2023. 1. progress presentation in May; 2. North Shore Science Fair in September; and 3. end of year presentation in late November/early December (after exams). We would facilitate regular ZOOM meetings with your group members and connect you with academics/researchers who will help mentor your group and yourselves toward future academic/career success.

If you have an interest in climate change science and the physical, social or indigenous environments, please see Mr. Wood as soon as possible.

Rosmini Alumni (either at university or in their careers -- if you would be interested to help work with one of our groups on this project, please contact Mr. Wood, via Rosmini email.

This project is part of the larger TOTCUS project that is spanning the Pacific.

Filo Night 2021.
Wow!! What a great night.
Approximately 500 people were entertained by a colourful display of musical and dramatic talent that filled a 90 minute fast moving programme. The show involved approximately 70 Kiwi-Filipino students and their friends, proudly representing Rosmini, Carmel and Marcellin Colleges.
The brains behind Filo Night and to who we send a huge Salamat, was Kristine, Abby, Claro and James. Self directed, and with a positive vision, these four students collected around them a team to choreograph, sell, supervise and produce a great show.
Here are a few of what must be hundreds of photos and videos that support the thoughts of all who attended -- great show!!
