🌏🎹 Music Without Borders
We recently had the pleasure of welcoming siblings Rian (6) and Ruhi (3), who were visiting Auckland from Hong Kong to spend time with family.
Their cousins are current FunKeyz students, and while Rian and Ruhi were here on holiday, their family was looking for some fun activities for them to enjoy — so we created a special little FunKeyz holiday music experience! 🎶
Over two weeks, they joined me for four fun-filled Piano Party lessons from our KeyNotes curriculum — learning, playing, creating and exploring music together.
It was such a joy getting to know these two and watching them enjoy their own FunKeyz experience while on holiday in New Zealand. 💚
Music really does have a wonderful way of bringing us together, wherever in the world we come from. 🌏🎹
We love sharing these special moments with our FunKeyz community. Thanks for following along! 💚

💚 Little Steps Become Big Achievements

One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching the little moments...
🌟 A difficult rhythm finally clicks.�
🌟 A shy student volunteers to play.�
🌟 A new piece is performed with confidence.�
🌟 A smile appears after achieving something that once seemed impossible.

Those little moments may seem small at the time, but they soon become big achievements.
We're incredibly proud of every one of our students and the effort, perseverance and enthusiasm they bring to each lesson. 💚

🎼 Exam Season

Exam season is just around the corner for some of our individual students.
It's been wonderful watching them refine their pieces, develop their musical expression and grow in confidence week by week.

While exams are just one part of a musical journey, they provide a wonderful opportunity for students to set goals, challenge themselves and celebrate how far they've come.

We're incredibly proud of the dedication and effort each student has shown, and we look forward to cheering them on over the coming weeks. 💚

Yes, our students learn to play the piano...

We're Back!

🎹 Term 3 is well underway, and what a fantastic start it's been!

Our studio has been buzzing with music, laughter and lots of smiling faces as we've welcomed everyone back for another exciting term.

It's been wonderful seeing students reconnect with friends, meet new classmates and jump straight into making music together.

From fun group activities to individual lessons, we're looking forward to all that's ahead this term—new songs, creative learning experiences, growing confidence at the keyboard and celebrating each student's progress along the way.

🎹 Our Term 2 FunKeyz Newsletter is here!
