It’s nice to be seeing the sun back in Auckland for the weekend, and as the days starts getting chillier it’s always nice to warm our hands over a campfire 🪵

As well as being a great team building exercise as children gather and build the fire, it’s also an excellent opportunity to learn about fire safety and body awareness. We think spending time together in this way is a childhood rite of passage and creates such special memories.

As well as roasting the traditional marshmallow on sticks, did you also know there is an easy to make bread dough you can twist over the end of a long stick to bake your very own camp bread?

We love topping off dampa bread with a little cinnamon and brown sugar to make it just like a cinnamon roll, or it’s also delicious just as it is!
