Little steps has gone into lockdown. All children are safe and accounted for and are being well looked after by their teachers. We will continue to provide updates on storypark.
Please do not come to the centre as the doors are locked and this may cause disruption to the management of this incident and could potentially place yourselves and/or our staff and children at risk. We will update this page when the lockdown has been completed. Thank you

Our preschool children had a wonderful morning visiting the residents at Maryann Rest Home. Together we shared songs, dancing, smiles, and many special conversations.

One of the highlights was looking through the children’s profile books together. The residents loved hearing about the children’s learning journeys, sharing memories, asking questions, and celebrating their growth. It was heartwarming to see the connections and friendships that continue to grow across the generations.

Thank you to everyone at Maryann Rest Home for welcoming us so warmly. We treasure these meaningful moments together and look forward to our next visit.

What a special morning we shared celebrating Puanga with the wonderful residents from Maryann Rest Home. 🌟

Together we sang songs, enjoyed a delicious morning tea, and spent time completing activities alongside one another. It was heartwarming to see our tamariki chatting, laughing, and building meaningful relationships with the residents while sharing stories and creating special memories together.

Thank you to everyone from Maryann Rest Home for spending the morning with us. We loved having you visit and look forward to many more opportunities to connect. ❤️

🎬🍿 Little Steps is proud to have raised $135 for the Kings Theatre Raise the Roof Fundraiser!

Our tamariki and staff had a fantastic day last Friday dressing up as their favourite movie characters, and it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved in support of this great community cause.

We also raffled two tickets to the Kings Theatre. Congratulations to Erin Rowe, the lucky winner of our raffle! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who generously donated and helped make this fundraiser a success. We are proud to contribute to supporting our local community and the Kings Theatre.
