Sawyers Bay Playcentre A family-orientated early childhood centre, primarily run by the parents that attend. Ages 0-6 and their parents/grandparents/family/caregivers welcome.

We are community based and love spend time with you and your children, helping you grow together.

From today, the centre will be used by Sawyers bay school in the afternoons for their after school programme. During this time the playground will be closed through from after school to 5.30pm on all weekdays during term time. Outside of these hours the community can continue to make use of the space but please ensure you are respectful of the equipment and use the rubbish bins provided for any rubbish.

Thank you all again for the support of our centre and as previously mentioned please feel free to come join our sessions at St Leonards Playcentre on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings.

Sawyers bay playcentre is closing as was previously mentioned late in 2025. The good news is that we are transferring all of our current enrollments to St Leonards Playcentre which will be open from next week on Monday, Tuesday and Friday mornings from 9.30-12.30. You will still notice some activity in the playcentre building as Sawyers bay school makes use of the space. We want to acknowledge all the past members of SBPC and the contributions that you have made to keep this centre running for so long. For now it is farewell and we look forward to welcoming everyone to St Leonards playcentre next week.
