Today our 4 year old went for a lovely hīkoi to the park, what a beautiful day for it.

Kia ora! What a great couple of weeks we have had in the school holidays. Amazing Matariki celebrations with our whānau, our children did absolutely amazing with all the waiata they sang. We also have had a disco, movie pj day, dress ups, and also were lucky enough to have a dentist in to check that we are caring for our teeth well 🦷👄

This week we got to have a lovely hikoi to the beach, to find some treasures, followed by a picnic at the park.

This week we had Kiwi North visit today, learning about our precious Kiwi birds. We also did some gardening caring for our environment. Have a wonderful weekend all.

A few highlights of our week 🐝
Some of us enjoyed a trip to Takahiwai Marae which was amazing! Lots of learning about the whale bones, and we even performed waiata for the members of Patuharakeke, strengthening our connection to the whenua and each other.

We went on a little hīkoi to the fire station, collecting rubbish on our way as kaitiaki,
caring for Papatūānuku.

We also celebrated Pink Shirt Day 🩷
Kōrero mai, kōrero atu, mauri tū, mauri ora - speak up, stand together, stop bullying. Together, we can continue creating communities where everyone feels they belong.
