⛷️ Snow Camp 2026 ❄️

Snow Camp was an absolute blast! It was fantastic to see our students embrace the challenge and how much they progressed in just two days. By day two, many were carving up the slopes like pros! 🎿

A huge thank you to Mrs Crockett for once again doing a fantastic job organising the camp.

Thank you also to Sian, Graham, Heidi, Richard, and Matt for giving up your time and helping make the camp such a worthwhile experience for our tamariki. We really appreciate your support.

While our Year 4–8 students were away at Snow Camp, our Year 0–3 students had an adventure of their own with an overnight stay at school!

The kids had an awesome time and loved the chance to spend the night at school with their classmates. Plenty of fun and some great memories made! 😊

👏 Celebrating Our Students 👏

A huge congratulations to Romy and Johnny, who proudly represented Ngākuru School at the Bay of Plenty Cross Country today. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented our school. Well done!

🏑 Our Year 7 & 8 Nighthawks hockey team is an awesome bunch of kids who always give their all and never stop trying. They proudly held the shield for a number of weeks, but after a tough game that went to a penalty shootout on Friday, they sadly lost it. Although the result didn't go their way, the determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship shown by this team has been incredible. We are so proud of every player and everything they have achieved this season.

Well done to all of our students for representing Ngākuru School so well!

Today our students performed kapa haka at the Rotorua Lakes Council Citizenship Ceremony, helping to welcome New Zealand's newest citizens.

We are so proud of the way they represented our school and community.

A big thank you to Matua Grant for all the mahi he puts into our kapa haka. We really appreciate everything he does for our students.
