🔥 Turning Up the Heat with a Bounce! 🔥

Despite the freezing cold weather, it wasn’t long into the workout before the extra layers came off and we worked up one serious sweat! 😅

Raising your heart rate, working up a good sweat, and getting the blood moving to optimise circulation throughout the body is worth more than any pill on the planet. 🌍 This is what it takes—and how much better is it to bounce together with such an awesome group of jumping buddies!

I absolutely LOVE your commitment, your passion, the full-throttle energy you bring to every class, and the fun that this incredible vibe creates. 🫶

I see the improvements. I see the changes. I see the progress. I see the visible signs of bodies that are thriving through movement and are wonderfully designed to heal.

Rebounding is more than just exercise—it’s movement with purpose.

When I was in my 20s and 30s, my mom would often say whenever I had an ache, pain, twitch, or some other physical annoyance, "Just wait until you hit your 40s!"
For some stupid reason, I honestly thought I was exempt from that statement. Whether it was youthful confidence, pride, or just plain ignorance, I assumed it wouldn't apply to me. Ummmm, WRONG !!! ❌

Looking back, movement had always been a huge part of my life. My parents played tennis every weekend while I was growing up. My brother ended up becoming a tennis professional at a young age, and although tennis wasn't really my sport, being active certainly was. Our family simply loved to move. 🏃‍♀️

Throughout my school years, I threw myself into gymnastics, long-distance running, cross-country, athletics, swimming, and netball, and I was fortunate to do well in most of them. As an adult, I continued running, attended aerobics and step classes, ran a half marathon, and spent plenty of time at the gym. But running was always my go-to exercise. It was simple, convenient, and easy to fit into life, especially when my boys were little.

Then, somewhere after turning 40, something changed. ✨

I noticed I wasn't quite as quick off the mark. Recovery took a little longer. I had to work harder to maintain my fitness, and after long runs my body and joints felt every kilometre.

That's when I finally understood exactly what my mom meant all those years ago when she said, “Wait till you hit your 40’s!”🙄

These days, I view exercise through a completely different lens.

It's no longer just something I do when I have time or because I know it's "good for me." I now see movement as one of the greatest investments and blessings I can make for my future health. 💫

The saying, "If you don't use it, you lose it," has become one of the truest lessons I've learned. Every choice I make today is either investing in my health or withdrawing from it. The habits I practise day after day are shaping the quality of the years ahead. There's simply no escaping that reality—it's as certain as gravity.

So I don't exercise just to maintain a healthy weight or to stay fit.

I exercise because I'm investing in the future version of myself. I'm building strength, protecting my bones & joints, supporting my heart, improving my balance, keeping my lymphatic system moving, and giving myself the best chance of staying active and independent for as long as possible. Being able to move is truely a gift I never want to take for granted.

And if you're wondering what form of exercise, in my opinion, ticks all those boxes—low impact, lymph-moving, bone-building, strength-training, heart-pumping, and enjoyable—my answer is simple.

Without a shadow of a doubt... REBOUNDING!!

If you have never tried rebounding, get in touch!! It’s been THE most life changing and enjoyable exercise I have ever done!✨

✨ FIND YOUR FEET AGAIN 👀 👣

I’m just SO proud of these beautiful people!!!✨🫶💛I’m not only impressed with the fact that you turn up every week, despite the frosty, cold weather conditions here in Rotorua, 🥶 which hit 0 degrees this week just by the way!😨What impresses me even more, is the improvement of your balance when rebounding. This is a common issue as we get older, but with rebounding, this hits the target and showcases a brilliant return over a short amount of time. ⏰

So, how can rebounding help with balance?

Well, rebounding is an excellent way to improve balance because every bounce encourages your body to make small adjustments to stay centred. 🎯 This strengthens your core and stabilising muscles while improving communication between your brain, muscles, joints, and inner ear.

Over time, this leads to better coordination, stability, confidence, and a reduced risk of falls—all while being gentle on your joints. 🦵

So, every bounce is a conversation between your brain and your body. Your muscles, joints, eyes, and inner ear all work together to keep you centred. The more they practise, the better your balance becomes—not just on the rebounder, but in everyday life. 💛This is the feedback I get from people OFTEN!!!

Whether you join our high-intensity or low-intensity rebounding classes, you’ll not only improve your balance but also enjoy a wide range of health benefits—including better cardiovascular fitness, stronger muscles and bones, improved lymphatic flow, increased energy, and enhanced wellbeing. It’s a whole-body workout that supports your health in ways no single pill can. 💊
