Good morning Dads - if you have a button-up shirt or T-shirt (size S or M Mens) that you no longer wear, can we please have it? We use them to protect uniforms for art and woodwork, and our current shirts are at the end of their life, it would be great to have some fresh ones! Just send it to the art room. Thanks in advance!

FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT POSTPONED TO FRIDAY 19TH SEPT
Kia ora wonderful BC Chapman whānau,
Well, despite the fact that as I look out the window and it is sunny and dry, I am writing to inform you that tomorrow Friday 12th September we will NOT be holding our annual BC Chapman House Football Tournament. According to the Met Service, bless them abundantly, the weather tomorrow is meant to be extremely wet! From midnight tonight to midday tomorrow it is meant to RAIN. Believe me, I am counting on their being right in their predictions! I am also praying that ALL the heavy, grey clouds above Aotearoa, make their way to BC Chapman in Rotorua, and empty their rain on our Football Fields!
This means that we are now aiming to hold the House Football Tournament next Friday 19th September, last day Term 3.
You already KNOW the drill…if it is fine tomorrow I am already out of town, on the first flight…destination….. Fiji! If all flights booked, then I am hiding under my desk or in a large cupboard in the building. This Head of Kura/School position when it involves disappointing our 127 tamariki, is quite frankly terrifying!

Note from School Office: Going home with your child/children today is a reminder about the Parent/Whānau Prayer meeting at school on Tuesday mornings 8am to 8:30am. This could be strategically placed on your fridge. First prayer point - pray for Mrs Warnes. That God would help her to make wise decisions and that He would protect and bless her.
