This week, our tamariki have been busy finding pink shapes on the whiteboard. Through fun, hands-on learning, they're developing their colour recognition, shape identification, and visual scanning skills while building confidence every step of the way. We can't wait to see what colour and shapes we find next week.

The tamariki in the over twos have been enjoying the opportunity to explore carpentry through open-ended, hands-on play! πŸ”¨

With real tools, natural materials, and plenty of curiosity, they worked at their own pace to hammer, build, create, and problem-solve.

It has been wonderful to watch their ideas come to life as they designed, experimented, and proudly shared their creations.

Our tamariki have been busy painters this week; exploring bright and cheerful colours through a fun marble painting activity. By rolling marbles dipped in yellow paint across the paper, they created beautiful patterns while developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity πŸ’›πŸŒž

Its very exciting having builders in the pepe, building the new deck and play space. Tamariki have been watching with great anticipation seeing the builders using the tools, hearing all the differet noises coming for out.

Watch this space whanau, great things are happening....

From stars and night skies to meaningful art inspired by this special time of reflection, remembrance, and new beginnings, our babies have loved exploring with their hands and senses. We are so proud of their creativity and the joy they've shown throughout our Matariki celebrations.

A big thank you to Annette from St John for coming to visit us! The children had a wonderful time listening to a special story, hearing their friends' heartbeats through the stethoscope, and trying on the St John uniform. It was a fun and engaging experience, and we really appreciated Annette taking the time to share it with us. Thank you for such a memorable visit!
