Learning about where food comes from, and identifying all the fruit and vegetables and things we can do is an important part of our philosophy…

Waitangi Day Celebration. Friday, 6 February 2026.

Rotorua Multicultural will be there with a variety of ethnic food and craft stalls. We invite everyone to take part in the Parade of Nations, meet outside QE Health at 2:15 pm. We will have your flag ready.

Every day is different Playtopia Educare, Before and After School Care….

Following on from learning about growing and sustainability at the Hindu Heritage Centre, we had the pleasure of preparing vegetables for cooking.

We made pastries with the silver beet, basil and spinach….

The kids all agreed!

They were yuuuuummy!

On 🌍 Earthcare day, we went to the heritage centre to learn about sustainability and caring for fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers at the Community Garden.
