Your 11/11 Message 💖
I'm reading a book about Chakras at the moment. I'm really learning to tune into my body and what my body wants and needs.
It's amazing what happens when you learn to tune in.
This is a journey I am ON, certainly not one I have mastered by any means.
But as I read about the third eye chakra last night this point stood out to me with a very clear message.
"If you're too busy to meditate for 1 hour, you should meditate for 2 hours."
As in... if you're too busy to make time for the things that will help your body and soul, you need those things more than ever!
For me... meditation is amazing, but CREATIVE PLAY. That's where the real magic is.
So here's your friendly reminder for the day that if you're too busy to be creative and to play. This is a clear message that you need it!
Join me for Wine & Watercolour Wednesday Nov 20th from 7-9pm and allow yourself some time to play, unwind, renew your creative flair, and have a bit of fun.

We get so consumed by fear and judgment. It keeps us stuck from so much growth.
Last year I reached out to Mike Rucker (Author of the Fun Habit) because I thought it would be amazing to interview him. At the time he responded. Sure! And gave me his email.
Guess what I did?
Nothing...
Why didn't I follow up?
Fear...
Judgment...
I was worried that I couldn't interview him because I hadn't finished his book.
So in my head I had decided that I would follow up once I had finished the book, because that would be the perfect time.
>> Ever felt like you needed to wait until the perfect time to do something?
Well my friends.... That was stupid... 🤦🏻♀️
You know why?
Because I still haven't finished the book...
But guess what!
I still value FUN and I KNOW that I would have an amazing conversation with Mike even if I haven't finished his book.
I decided enough was enough and I finally got over myself and reached out to him again, today.
I told him I was embarrassed that I hadn't finished his book and that's why I didn't respond a year ago.
I mentioned how much I value Fun and how much I love his content and his 91-Fun Challenge that's he's doing to prioritize Fun in his own life.
And guess what?
Within 10 minutes of contacting him he responded with "What a kind message. Thank you." and that he would be happy to be interviewed for my podcast. ✨
So there you go.
Stop waiting for the perfect time.
Stop letting fear and judgement get in the way of progress.
Be honest and be vulnerable because it truly is where the power lies.
And if you want to hear more about the power of vulnerability be sure to check out my latest podcast episode Redefining Strength: Why Vulnerability if your Secret Weapon. (link in comments).

Did you know I've started working with couples?
I had my first couples session recently and it blew my mind 🤯
So many women struggle to communicate what they want/need not only because they might not know what they want, but also because they're afraid of how their partner will respond.
There's been so much tension, raw emotion and just disappointment that they find it hard to be vulnerable and say what they need to say.
Having a third party often makes this easier. Someone without an agenda and with a simple goal... to help YOU achieve what YOU want. (As a pair or individual) Plain and simple.
There are no sides.
Being super clear about what you want and then looking for ways to achieve that is the goal.
I've also had some pretty fabulous feedback.
When the husband says:
"I thought therapy was overrated, but that was pretty good. You're not dumb." and then "Can we do this every week?"
Well, I think that goes to show the power of the work I do.
If you think you could use some support too, simply reach out in the DM's when you're ready.

Something I haven't shared yet...
Over a month ago I was contacted to support young people with communication and employment.
Now this is not an area I generally focus on but communication IS the corner stone of what I do and how I help people.
Whether it's communicating with your spouse or your boss it is essential to understand the ins and outs and how to get your message across in the right way.
This new project has led me to create a 90-page guidebook as a comprehensive training for better communication at work and home. This guide along with the 1-1 support provided by yours truly is part of my latest project.
An unexpected adventure in supporting our future generations to learn essential skills we can ALL benefit from.
If you're struggling to be heard and understood and you're unsure why send me a DM.
Part of how I can support you is in identifying where and why you are blocked so that you can shine a light on what is preventing you from being understood, saying what you want, and achieving your desired outcome, all without causing a massive fight.

Do you remember what it was like to create?
I don’t mean what you created, or how long it took, or what people had to say about it…
I mean how it FELT to engulf yourself in the moment of creating? (Like in the picture below ⬇️)
One of my favourite parts about art class in school was the laughter, the silliness and the play that took place with my friends and my teacher while creating.
It was an amazingly fun place to be.
Then when I went to art school I got to have full 4hr art classes where I could create and it was amazing.
The joy and power of just being in a creative space is beyond words.
My art was more about the ideas than the artworks themselves.
But I never felt good enough…
My art didn’t meet the “Art School standard”.
My skills weren’t good enough.
And then I became an Art teacher... and in turn I stopped creating all together... 🤔
I WANTED to create a space like what I had at school, where art was fun, playful and silly. That was always the goal.
I wanted to create a space that young people loved being in.
And I did that, however, there was a lot more pressure than I had anticipated.
Sadly, the pressure and focus on creating took away a lot of the play and fun. My passion for creating a playful and fun place got replaced with a need to complete specific works by a certain time and to look a certain way.
It became more about the end result rather than the process.
And I lost sight of my passion..
And that’s why I can’t go back to teaching in the traditional sense of the word.
BUT I am still a teacher.
I am educating young people through my Whimsical Watercolour classes about the joy of paint. The joy of watching what the colours do and I’m hoping they hear me when I talk about how creativity is so much more about the process than the product.
And I educate women on reconnecting to the playful side of themselves. To the part of them that is carefree, joyful and fun.
So if you're read this far... I invite you to remember a time when you were wrapped in the warm feeling of play. When you were laughing and being silly and just enjoying the moment.
It is THAT moment that I hope to bring all my clients back to.
THAT is the moment I want in my life every single day and the moment I want for you too.
DM me if YOU are ready to have more moments like that in your life.

Infidelity is something that happens A LOT but it is NOT the thing that causes relationships to fall apart.
It is simply the result of an already strained relationship.
Whether you're aware of that strain, or not....
You see, I believe you open yourself up to infidelity when you're unaware of your needs.
>> If you're not having your needs met.
In whatever form that looks like.. (and there are a lot..)
What will happen when someone else comes along, who fills that need?
Or offers a glint of what having that need met would look like?
This is the topic of S1.E4 of the Falling in Love Again Podcast called Cheating Isn't the Problem - Deeper Issues Revealed.
This new episode goes LIVE at 10am tomorrow.
