Construction
Construction play can really help to extend children's ideas and imagination. Construction play occurs when children use toys, loose parts, or materials to build or create something new. Successful construction requires various skills such as planning, drawing, cutting, assembling, moulding, stocking and testing.

Lately, while weather was wet and windy, our older children took some time out to build our new bikes. Children unpacked, laid out the pieces on the floor, looking carefully at the instructions & working together, constructed thier four new bikes. Once finished children took responsibility and parked up thier new bikes in the office until rain stops.
