Dear Parents/Caregivers

In 2026, the Ministry of Education has provided Schools with the ability to add two Teacher Only Days to their calendars to plan for the refreshed NZ Curriculum. We have allocated these two days to align with the Amuri Area School.

Friday 25th September (The last day of Term 3)
Thursday 12th November (The day before the Show Weekend in Term 4)
School will be closed for instruction on both of these days, with staff involved in planning and professional development linked to the refreshed curriculum.

Our recent book fair brought some true superstars to Rotherham School! These wonderful ladies not only donated a collection of fantastic new books to our library, but they are now generously giving their time to help manage it.
