AIMS Day 2

Ben had another good day in the pool swimming the 200m freestyle event.

The rippa team had a good start to their week with 3 from 3 wins in pool play. 7-0 against Kaikohe Christian School, 10-1 against Putāruru College and 4-3 against Waimauku School. 2 more pool play games tomorrow.

And a massive congrats to Cam and Harry who competed in the Orienteering Individual Sprint event today. Cam came away with 3rd in the Year 8 boys and Harry 6th. There were 95 in the event.

Day One of AIMS and we had Ben competing in his second day of Swimming. He has swum 4 races and got a PB today in the 100m Free race. Awesome work Ben!

Cooper, Sam and Jack competed in a fast paced field of Cross Country runners. Cooper came 34th out of 153 competitors in the Year 7 Boys. Sam came 15th and Jack 114th in the Year 8 boys out of 162. These 3 left it all out on the course! Amazing work!

A few weeks ago Cameron Gloyn and Harry Walkley competed in the Manawatu Orienteering Champs. They both did outstanding and were 1st (Cam) and 2nd (Harry) in the Year 7/8 Boys competitive course. Well done boys!

Today Cam and Harry along with Jack Squire competed in the Manawatu Orienteering Teams Champs. Another outstanding day where the boys team won the Year 7/8 Boys competition quite convincingly! Awesome work boys!

Also if you have a tropy or cup from Ag Day last year please return to the office asap.
