Drum roll please….

Here comes the trailblazer – Zachary!

A very spontaneous, analytical thinker and full of beans. Nothing could slow him down!

Zach didn’t just sustain his chair in 3-Yr ASHR list, he also boosted his standing by a clear margin.

He is now ranked 65th out of 432 Year 5 advance Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

Imagine this, in his school, while his contemporaries are learning multiplication/division (Level D), Zach is a few worksheets away to finish Level H (quadratic equations) and prepping to start Level I (rationalizing square roots). Sounds complicated? Well, at his age – yes, it’s astronomical!

In the picture, I think Zach is pointing where the 5-Yr ASHR will be posted if he happened to be the first one to unseal its doors! With your current trend, chances are high that you will hit it by 1st quarter of 2027.

Keep setting the pace, Zach! Cheers to the road to 5-Yr ASHR!

Congratulations!

Tenacious Ryan!

Another new kid on the block in Kumon Rolleston family that has an exciting trajectory to watch out for!

Ryan enrolled in Kumon four (4) months ago, he surpassed the KIS level and stepped on the 1-Yr ASHR right away! From his original study projection plan, he hit his target eight (8) months ahead of time.

Attitude-wise, whenever he is starting a new topic in his worksheet, he is very eager to study the technique and can pick it up in a snap!

He is ranked 283rd out of 354 Year 3 advanced Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

In school, while his classmates are learning vertical addition/subtraction (Level B), Ryan is on fire at Level D solving large number multiplication/division – no sweat!

Without a doubt, Ryan will be one of the recipients of gold medal next qualifying month.

Congratulations! Baie Geluk!

The feisty Scarlett!

Scarlett joined Kumon just this February 2026. She kickstarted her journey with high spirit and riveted to what she has to achieve based on our study projection plan.

In just four (4) months of perseverance, she managed to become one of our new additions in our 1-Yr ASHR list. So quick that she overtaken the Kumon International Standard (KIS) level and went straight to 1-Yr advanced.

In school, Scarlett is 1 year ahead of her peers. While her classmates are learning addition/subtraction, Scarlett is psyching up to Level C (multiplication).

Keep an eye on this little girl, she is quietly climbing the ASHR ladder in the fast lane!

Carry on and keep up the pace! You are bound to the gold medal stage next qualifying month.

Congratulations! Well done.

Give it up for… Kiahna!

Kiahna is the name that never goes off from ASHR list! This is because of her established study habit and solid foundation of the basics.

Aside from learning ability, her calm demeanour and resilience are also her keys to get through tough worksheets ahead of her.

She is ranked 227th out of 337 Year 8 advanced Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

In her school, she is one (1) year ahead of her colleagues. So, if her classmates are learning basic algebra, Kiahna is geared up to grind quadratic equations.

Keep hustling, Level I is on the horizon and close at hand.

Another well-deserved gold medal to bring home next qualifying month!

Congratulations! Well done.

The Silent Achiever, Jeremy!

Jeremy is one of the long-standing contenders in ASHR list!

As a silent achiever, he let his performance do the talking. No fuss, no nonsense, but just knowing what needs to be done. Next thing you know, he is up to another level.

You will not see him frustrated, even when the worksheets are getting tough. He is always calm and composed. This character keeps him in the ASHR loop!

He is now ranked 162nd out of 354 Year 3 advanced Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

In his school, he is one year ahead of his peers. Which means, if his classmates are starting to learn times table, Jeremy is doing large number multiplication like a morning warm-up for math gymnastics!

Gold medal is coming your way, Jeremy!

Congratulations! Well done.

The Mathemagician, Nathaniel!

One of the newest additions in our 2-Yr advanced ASHR list. After six (6) months since joining Kumon, he made it to the 1-Yr ASHR. This time, it only took him three (3) months to jump from 1-Yr to 2-Yr advanced. This strong momentum is a result of the combination of his consistency, perseverance and self-learning ability.

It’s quite amusing hearing Nathan reciting the process of how he solves his worksheets. As an instructor, it is reassuring as it shows his understanding and confidence in what he does.

Nathan didn’t just move to 2-Yr ASHR, but he also improved his standing and nearing to the top.

He is now ranked 13th out of 186 Year 2 advanced Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

In his school, he is two years ahead of his peers. While his mates may still learn addition/subtraction (Level A), Nathaniel is already at Level E cracking his daily dose of operations of fractions.

This September, he will be one of the gold medal recipients who qualified in less than a year.

Congratulations! Well done.

Here we go, Élan Aayan!

Back-to-back accomplishment in 1-year ASHR list!

His notable self-learning ability is his edge in getting ahead of his supposed KIS level (Level E). Aayan has the combination of being consistent and having basic solid foundation. This has been his tools of trade to reach Level G.

Aayan didn’t just maintain his spot in ASHR list, but he also improved his standing big time.

He is now ranked 302nd out of 495 Year 6 advanced Kumon maths students in New Zealand.

In his school, while his peers are doing addition/subtraction of fractions, Aayan is now mastering algebraic fractions like a breeze!

Continue hustling, Aayan! The gold medal up for grabs this September.

Congratulations! Well done.

Another hotshot joined the ASHR list – Jaiveer!

Jaiveer just started Kumon maths last March 2026. He only needed three (3) months to put his name in the ASHR list. Job well done!

His learning habit is simple, no missed worksheets or assignments, high engagement in his centre days, and with high accuracy! In short, he is a consistent learner who easily picks up the technique to solve problems.

Keep an eye on this kid as his momentum is on fire.

He is ranked 100th out of 186 advanced Kumon maths student in New Zealand.

In his school, while his peers are learning addition/subtraction, Jaiveer is solving division like it is child’s play! That’s the gap right there.

A shining gold medal is on the way, so keep the fire burning!

Congratulations!

Isla is a prodigy for a reason.

As you may remember, last qualifying month, based on her learning trend, we envisioned that she would likely break the barrier of 2-Yr ASHR – well, she just did!

Isla swept all her worksheets with high accuracy, in progressive fashion, and in confident manner. No wonder her study projection is at peak!

Aside from joining the 2-Yr ASHR list, she also improved her standing significantly.

She is ranked 110th out of 392 Year 4 advanced Kumon students in New Zealand.

In her school, while her classmates are still learning vertical multiplication and division (Level C), Isla is gearing up to conquer Level G (algebra). That’s how far the trip has been.

Next stop: 3-Yr ASHR. You can do it!

Congratulations! Well done.
