Three Trees Learning Centre / Te Kāhui Toetoe

In Whanake our current project "Natures Power" has been taking a look at the people who help during emergencies. Officer Max happily came in to share how Police help us in every day situations, how their dogs help, and then we got to try on some police uniforms and have a look inside a police car!

In Tinaku Babes hui time provides a calm, engaging environment where pēpi can explore books, songs, sensory experiences, and language-rich interactions. This space supports early communication, connection, and a love of literacy through play, storytelling, and meaningful relationships.

One of our Whanake kaiako has been teaching the haka to some very enthusiastic little sports fans, with lots of big actions, proud faces, and excitement along the way! Check out these little hero's!!

Kaiako at Ngaruru transformed the outdoor environment into an exciting challenge course filled with people-sized cut-outs and adventure!

There was lots of laughter as tamariki practised their turn-taking and social skills while exploring together.

Transition visits to Ngaruru are exciting times for our oldest Whanake tamariki! Especially when they are able to reconnect with friends!

From Teddy Bears’ Picnics, to celebrating National Unicorn Day, exploring Bubble Magic , and getting active on our sports days — there has been so much joy, laughter, and creativity shared together.

Last week at our monthly planning meeting, we kicked things off the Tinaku way with a fun game between our hubs to get the brain buzzing! 🧠✨ It’s always a great way to energize the team, spark some laughs, and set the tone for a productive session.
