Our Happy Hearts whānau supported Daffodil Day today by wearing YELLOW and getting busy making and creating daffodils! 🌼
Our infants explored yellow and green coloured foam, enjoying the colours, textures and sensory experience. Our toddlers got creative with handprint flowers and painted daffodils, which now brighten up our hallway. Our preschoolers carefully observed daffodils before creating their own artistic interpretations, with each painting as unique as the tamaiti who created it.
Alongside all the creativity, today was also a lovely opportunity for our tamariki to be part of something happening in our wider community and to learn that even small actions can show care and support for others. 💛
Our preschoolers' beautiful daffodil paintings are proudly displayed in our front window, so if you're walking by over the weekend, come and check them out!
There’s still time to donate to this very important cause and support the wonderful work of the Cancer Society. 🌼💛
