This week we had the joy of celebrating the incredible Dad's and father figures in the lives of our tamariki 🏆🤎

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful Dad's, Grandads and father figures in our Ark whānau. We hope you feel very loved, treasured and celebrated this weekend.

🌿🤍 JOY AND PEACE 🤍🌿

Two little words we've been exploring at The Ark as we learn more about the Fruit of the Spirit.

We talked about David dancing before the Lord with joy, and how Jesus brought peace when the disciples were caught in the storm.

And, of course, we sung our way through it too...
🎶 I've got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart, where...! 🎶

We love being able to teach our tamariki about Jesus in ways they can understand… Our highlights this week have been through stories, music, movement, conversations, crafts and our mat time.

Christian education isn't something we simply add to the curriculum, we live it.🤍

We currently have spaces available Mon, Tues, Thurs and Friday if you'd like to join give us a ring😊

Today The Ark Preschool is proud to support Daffodil Day and the Cancer Society’s important work supporting people and whānau affected by cancer. 💛

We’re encouraging our children and families to get behind this special day by wearing yellow, bringing along a donation, and learning about the importance of caring for and supporting others in our community.

🌿✨FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT✨🌿

This week we have started our Fruits of the Spirit focus by starting with ‘LOVE’ and the story in Luke of the lost sheep and the Shepard who leaves the 99 to find 1.

May every child being known, loved, and sought after by God.

MATARIKI & SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN✨🌿

What a busy few weeks we’ve had!

To all our whānau who came to celebrate Mātariki with us, Brought in vegetables for our soup, and the tamariki who cut them up. Thank you for being a part of it, we really enjoyed spending Mātariki with you. What yummy sausages and soup.

We’ve also had a lot of fun over the school holidays with Tea Parties and some of our teachers practicing their face painting.

Have a blessed weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday for the start of Term 3!
