A huge Thankyou to Grassroots Trust for helping us purchase our waka. Tamariki have had lots of fun using their imaginations to row together, create adventures and sing waiata while having lots of fun. Kia ora Grassroots Trust.

Fundraiser this coming Wednesday 24th! We have had some incredible donations for our jumble sale ( see photos and poster attached). We will be creating volcanos in the sandpit, faceprinting and obstacle course building! Please come and support our PC Tamariki and buy a coffee and some homemade baking.

Last week Megan brought along some buckets! What was in the buckets was interesting, as there were green and red grapes that were left over from the recent harvest. Megan helped the children to wash the grapes, separate the colour’s and place them into buckets.....which is where the fun part came! Tamariki were given the opportunity to climb into the buckets and stomp on the grapes! Some children did not enjoy the sensation of the grapes on their feet, however there were some that really enjoyed the experience and they spent time crushing the grapes. No one wanted to try the grape juice, but the experience was awesome and one that many children would never get to do. Thanks Megan for organising this.

Come along next week and checkout our Playcentre while getting messy and having fun. Sessions are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:15-11:45am.
