Osu Gassho What a fantastic weekend in Totaranui .The journey to get there with the weather was certainly an adventure in itself but so very worthwhile.

A huge thank you to Shuseki Shihan Richmond, Shuseki Shihan Simon, and Julie for their incredible manaakitanga, throughout the weekend. The opportunity to train together, share knowledge, strengthen connections, and shift out of our comfort zone and deepen our Seido practice in this epic "Dojo" is something truly special.

Osu — Gassho so very grateful for the learning, the laughs, the friendships, and the spirit of Kizuna.

Osu a bonus evening of Karate this week when Sensei Graeme Andrews said he was in town with gi in hand. All living within 600 meters rushed down. We know we are so lucky to be able to open up our doors and take advantage of the opportunity to learn from others. We hope this happens many times over when folks are passing through town.

Osu Gassho huge thanks to all that came to our second summer session led by Kyoshi David Scott We covered so many facets of our kyu grade syllabus from Stance, kata, self defence, kihon, amending changed syllabus and pre sparring.
We really appreciate the expertise and experience of Sei Shihan Terence Ellery Jun Shihan Heather Aitken Sensei and senpai from Seido Karate Nelson Seido Karate Stoke Hokitika Seido Karate Seido Karate Richmond osu.

Some finished the day with a refreshing dip in the River before gathering for a social dinner and a few rounds of pool.

Thank you so much to Paige Newburry and Tara Papworth for the amazing kai that kept us going all day ❤️

We cant wait to catch up again at beach training and camp in the coming weeks. Osu

Huge fundraising effort this weekend by the Reefton Seido Karate club first at the Inangahua A&P Show today. The club worked hard whipping up the savouries sammies scones and sweets along with selling hot & cold drinks in the Tearooms.
We did our Annual demo thanks to Kelsey McKenzie for capturing us in action and to the Reefton community for their support.

Sunday we are supporting our favorite purple belt and longtime non training club supporter Tara Papworth at the Strand Slam event she has organized-bring the family down from 11.30 grab a sausage and get your face painted. There will be basketball co.ptition free swim at the pool and try your hand at disc golf.

Don't forget next Saturday is the second and final of our summer series we would love to see you in Reefton scan the QRcode on the poster to register please.

OSU. Yesterday our Seido cup runneth over.
Reefton Seido Karate had the absolute pleasure of hosting the first of our Summer sessions.
We are very Greatful to Sei Shihan Neroli for leading the day and for Sei Shihan Terry, Kyoshi Wayne Daryl Davidson , Sensei Graeme Andrews Senpai Riley and Senpai Jake for supporting and sharing their insight knowledge and skills
A big thank you to everyone who traveled to join us .
