Are you a fun, passionate and motivated kaiako? Then come and join the team at Kapiti Children’s Centre as a relief kaiako.

Our family run, mixed age setting is based in the heart of Raumati Beach. We provide a nurturing setting where warmth, love and affection are just as important to us as tamariki education. Tamariki are encouraged to set their own challenges and are supported by kaiako within their learning journey. Relationships with our families, and our community are an essential part of our practice.

Our perfect team member will be calm, respectful, cheerful, and flexible. Usually I will offer you shifts the week before, but sometimes we need someone on the day.

✨At KCC we love coming up with creative ways for whānau to share their aspirations for their tamariki✨

This beautiful korowai was created through whanaungatanga for Matariki. Ngā tamariki each designed their own feather, the underside of which is adorned with hopes, dreams and aspirations written by their whānau for the year ahead.

Kaiako draw on these aspirations daily to connect with whānau, plan for learning and to help us view and understand children's play and learning through the lens of their whānau.

Late night shopping in the village this Thursday, and KCC will be open with crafts and facepainting until 6.30 🥰

Mark the date for next Thursday! Raumati Village shops are extending their hours until 7 PM for a fun evening of shopping, live music, and in-store hospitality. Bring the family down to check out the Kapiti Children's Centre between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM for kids' face painting and crafts.
