Careers and Employment information for our students, finding jobs for our students so that all of them can enjoy the benefits of work experience in the field that they may dream of working in one day. Employers - We are looking for:-

Gateway Placement
Gateway Students usually come and work for one day a week over a fixed period, there is no cost to the employer and the college will provide any equipment – e.g. We have students interested in a huge variety of careers and this gives them a wonderful opportunity to evaluate their future choices. Saturday/ One Off/ Holidays/ After School Jobs
Tap into the Careers Office Job Search database – we can put you in touch with a selection of likely candidates for your requirements. Workday Placement
Every year the Students fundraise by offering their services to the community for a very reasonable fee and we would love a database of willing businesses to help place these able workers. Students - Please send in your CV and the kind of work you are looking for and we will add you to our database

Two legends in the making! 👏

Manaaki Moeke and Lachlan Holdaway from Kapiti College have both completed MITO’s StartUp Ignition – Automotive Micro-credential. Congratulations to you both!

They are now enrolled in MITO’s StartUp Accelerate, as they continue building their skills and knowledge.

Manaaki and Lachlan are also hoping to secure apprenticeships for 2027. All the best—we’ll be cheering you on! 🔧
