So great to hear that schools are embracing structured literacy. I was impressed to hear the need for teachers to be coached in structured literacy. I have been incorporating this with my students this year and have seen excellent growth. One of my students recently taught her classroom reliever teacher some correct sounds. Very proud of her and her fantastic progress. If you get a chance, have listen to this interview from Breakfast show.

Had an awesome afternoon at the Maths Craft Day at the Arts Centre yesterday. Great to see how busy it was and the number of kids, as well as adults, challenging themselves with different crafts. I'm still trying to master a couple of the puzzles - but I won't give up! Nice to also see one of my current students enthusiastically explaining what he had made. I am hoping he'll help me solve one of my puzzles:) I'll be sharing some of the ideas over the next few weeks with my maths students. Thanks
