❗️Boil Water Advisory – Patearoa & Ranfurly❗️

🚰Update: Water Tanker Locations
📍 Maniatoto Hospital – main collection point for anyone unable to boil water
📍 Patearoa Pub – tanker stationed adjacent to the pub
📍 St John's School
📍 Maniatoto Area School – for school-use only

Please note: Due to freezing temperatures, water in the tankers may be frozen in the early morning. For easier access, we recommend collecting water in the afternoon.

A precautionary Boil Water Advisory is in place for Patearoa and Ranfurly until December 2025. Please boil water for at least one minute and let it cool naturally before use.

💧This includes water for:
• Drinking
• Brushing teeth
• Preparing food
• Making ice, baby formula or juice
• Washing fruits and vegetables

The current water supply is treated for bacteria, but not for protozoa. There has been no change to the water supply — this is a precaution until treatment plant upgrades are completed in December 2025.

Come join the fun at the Costume Ice Dance on this Saturday the 5th of July, from 6 to 8 PM at the Jock Scott Family Ice Rink, Maniototo Adventure Park, Naseby
A night of music, skating, games and prizes.
Skates included – just $10 for adults, $5 for school kids, or $20 for the whole family.
There’ll be a sausage sizzle, hot chips and drinks available too! See you there! Supported by Burn Radio :-)
